Grants for Nokia Visiting Professors are given to distinguished foreign professors to work in Finland, or to deserving Finnish professors working at respected foreign universities in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). Guidelines for applicants:
Application should include a clear, concise and realistic research plan for the visit.
Establishing a new collaboration between distinguished research groups is valued.
Ethical aspects of the research should be comprehensively explained in the application form.
Benefits of the visit to Finland should be clearly argued in the application.
Scholarship is intended for supporting travel and accommodation expenses, not for applicant’s salary.

Nokia Foundation Board will make grant decisions twice a year. Deadlines for the applications are:
